Venue:- Bartons Arms, A34, Aston, B6 4UP
Due to the previous popularity, we've scheduled another repeat, so that we can try other menu options, and those unable to attend last time have another chance!
Please meet 8pm or just before, in the restaurant at the Bartons Arms. They have a varied and acclaimed but relatively inexpensive menu of Thai food. They also stock an extensive range of real ales which can be enjoyed at the same time. The Bartons is a historic grade 2 listed building, very authentic in appearance as a colonial tavern.
Neither the food or the drinking is obligatory if you just want to come for casual socializing and a relaxing evening, but do at least one to keep the publican happy!
The pub is on the 51 and 33 bus routes out of the city centre. It also has a small car park, which is only accessible when driving south along the A34 which involves driving 600 metres north to a roundabout where a U Turn is possible if approaching from the City Centre. There is also public parking available inside the dual carriageway central reservation opposite the Bartons Arms
Please Note: Minimum Attendance 10, Maximum Attendance 30
We usually meet in the bar between 19:30 and 20:00, for a pre-meal drink, while the table is being set. We move through to the restaurant together at 8pm when everyone has arrived.
