Walk: Summertime Severn Valley
A straightforward walk in Shropshire, to the south of Bridgnorth, with nice views, and shady in hot weather. The route is mainly level, with woodland and riverside in abundance, pastureland and more.

Logistics
Meet: 10:15 for prompt 10:20 start.
Distance: Moderate distance of around 8 miles.
Start Point: Halfway House Inn, Cleobury Road, Eardington, WV16 5LS

Parking: Pub car park if staying at the pub, else local roads. There are grass verges around the junction of B4363 and Halfway House Lane.
Terrain: Our walk route will cover mixed countryside.
Refreshments: Bring Picnic Lunch, and we may include a short pub stop later in the walk, and/or we can visit The Halfway House Inn at the end.
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s and dogs (under control) may attend as guests.

Safety
As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.
RSVP Commitment
Places are limited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting) so reliable attendees will take priority at future events.
