About us
Mindful Art Lisbon offers in-person experiences that combine creativity, mindfulness, and emotional awareness in a calm, structured setting.
These workshops are designed for adults seeking a deeper pause from daily life — using art as a reflective and regulating practice rather than a technical skill.
Each session is carefully facilitated and intentionally small, allowing for presence, containment, and meaningful engagement. Materials are provided, and no previous art experience is required.
This is not entertainment, therapy, or a traditional art class.
It is a grounded wellbeing experience for those who value depth, attention, and inner clarity.
Ideal for locals and visitors looking for a meaningful creative practice in Lisbon.
Mindfully led by Clinical Psychologist trained in Art Therapy Aida, founder of Fluid Art & Wellness: fluidartwellness.com
For those who are feeling ready for a more contained and time-bound experience, I open online cohorts a few times a year called The Mindful Creative Circle:

The Mask & The Mirror: Mindful Art Workshop in Lisbon
The week before Halloween, the whole city puts on a face. Shop windows, costumes, strangers you almost recognise.
For two hours, with a plain white mask in front of you, you'll make a mask of your own: with paint, colour, and whatever wants to come out. No one tells you what it should look like, or what it should mean.
This isn't an art class; it's a guided space to meet the versions of yourself with curiosity rather than judgement, and to notice what's quietly asking for more room. You share only what you want to. The rest stays with you.
You'll leave with the mask in your hands and, often, with a slightly different sense of the person wearing it.
The evening includes
- A small, unhurried group
- Everything you need to make your mask
- Guided facilitation
- Quiet time to create, and space to share if you choose
- A finished mask to take home
Details: Saturday, 24 October 2026 · 5:00–7:00 PM Central Lisbon — exact location shared after booking In English · Adults 18+ · No experience needed
Price First 5 places €27 · then €30
Ten places only. Payment confirms your seat.
Led by Aida Akoury Psychologist and mindful art facilitator, with postgraduate training in Art Therapy and Community Art. She founded Fluid Art & Wellness to build experiences where creativity, reflection, and real connection meet.
Come as you are. Paint the mask. See what looks back.
