Palm Springs! So close and so much to do! Hang out the pool and work on that tan? Go to Joshua Tree? Play at Casinos? Take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to the Mountains? Go hiking in Indian Canyon?

October is the best time to visit because its perfect weather! What can be better than the weather? The new friendships and staying at a luxury Marriott Timeshare with swimming pools and more. We will have all the amenities of a home (bathroom with shower and flushing toilet, bed to sleep on, towels etc) but still can access the great outdoors. Wake up and head to Joshua Tree on Saturday and then lounge at the pool in the afternoon? Sunday, jump on the Palm Spring Aerial Tramway and do a hike up in the mountain? :)

With the money we put together, I will buy food and with some of your help around dinner time, we can have delicious dinners together Friday and Saturday! :) I will pick up oatmeal and pastries and coffee for breakfast for us. And those who have been on prior trips with me know, I will pick up some other snacks, goodies and drinks for the trip. ;)

You can arrive anytime on Thursday or Friday. We technically have the rooms until Monday 10/8, so you can head back home anytime on Sunday - no worry about having to pack up and checkout early Sunday morning!

To help cover the cost of the Marriott, food, drinks and other goodies, the trip is $210 per person.

Getting there: I will help coordinate carpool for the confirmed attendees. Palm Springs is about 100 miles from Downtown LA.

This is a trip for members of this group. All attendees must be a member of Mix Professionals and RSVP here. By participating in this group you agree to waive all claims against the Organizers and meetup.

No pets on this trip.

If your Paypal/Venmo name doesn't match your Meetup profile name, please let us know so we know who is confirmed for the trip.

Communication with specifics regarding the trip will be through email. Therefore we will use the email address associated with your Paypal account unless you specifically provide a different address.

The reservation is based on FIRST PAID and has a limited number of people (gender balanced). Whoever pays first will be on the "go" list. If you RSVP yes but don't submit payment your spot is not confirmed and I may move you to the "not attending" list without any further explanation because only a payment (not just an RSVP) locks in your spot.

Refund Policy: You may cancel 60 or more days prior to start date and receive a full refund (minus paypal fee). Cancellation 14-59 days prior to trip start date, you will receive 50% refund. 0-13 days, no refund will be given.

1. Can I pay for my friend who is also coming?

Yes. As long as your friend RSVPs separately, you can send in payment for them.

2. How does carpool work?

The organizers will coordinate carpool for confirmed attendees based on where people are leaving from, when they can leave and whether or not they can drive. Departure times are determined by drivers. Expect to hear more about 1 week prior to the trip.

3. What if I don't know anyone else going - is it weird to go by myself?

Not at all! Most people come by themselves to these events and have a blast and end up with a new social circle of friends!
