Speaker Series featuring Malcolm D. Lee

Hi Mocha Girls,
The manager of Underground Books in Oak Park has invited our book club to a very special event- the Speaker Series featuring Malcolm D. Lee, acclaimed director, producer, and author of The Best Man: Unfinished Business.

This is more than a book event; it's a celebration of Black stories, literacy, and the vibrant energy of Black book clubs. They'd be honored to welcome Mocha Girls Read as their special guest and hope this can be the start of a lasting connection between our club and the community.

The invitation is for local Sacramento members, 8–10 people max, so they can create a personal and engaging experience.
