What we’re about
👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON!
London’s biggest film club — built by fans, for fans. We’re a buzzing community of movie lovers, indie filmmakers, comic geeks, and creators who live and breathe cinema. From cult classics to hidden gems, big-screen blockbusters to indie passion projects — we just love getting lost in movies.
We meet regularly for screenings, grab drinks after, and rave (or rant) together on our Letterboxd Page. You’ll often find us at our BFI Riverfront Socials — always a vibe. We stay on top of film news, and our members help vote on what we watch next via WhatsApp or Telegram (unlocked after your first meetup).
We also aim to make an effort to support independent cinema — from The Film Festival Guild to the Prince Charles Cinema, the BFI, Medicinema, and more. That means we sometimes get special perks, early screenings, and the chance to hit the road for exciting festivals. From film quizzes to chill pub nights, there’s always something going on.

🎄🦌TYBURN FAIR 2025

👋 Hi guys — I thought this weekend we could do something a little bit different since it’s Christmas time and we are a creative group after all.
The International Community School in Paddington (W2) will be hosting the debut Tyburn Fair, a festive pop-up market bringing together some of London’s most exciting independent makers. Expect a sharp mix of vintage stalls, indie creatives, a master chocolatier, bespoke jewellery, fine art photography, a bonus raffle — and even a masseur on hand to help you unwind.
It’s just around the corner from the Royal Exchange Pub, making it a perfect spot to browse, grab something unique before the holidays, and enjoy a laid-back community vibe. You might even find a few surprises along the way.
Entry is free, with optional tickets available on Eventbrite, but you don’t need a ticket to come in — you can simply show up. We’ll meet outside 21 Star Street at 11:00 AM and head in around 11:20 AM.

👋 Hey everyone! Oh, this sounds like a great epic choice! This Whole Bloody Affair is such a treat, especially if you haven’t seen it in a while. I mean, getting the full uncut experience of both volumes together is just pure Tarantino heaven and a bloody blast for everyone. So we say let’s go for it—it's gonna be a killer (pun intended) movie night!
We’ll kick things off with lunchtime drinks at the Picture House Central Bar on the first floor, and then dive into both films in glorious 35mm. There’ll be a 15-minute break between the films to catch our breath. We’ve got seats in Screen One, E1 and E2, and we’ll wrap up with a quick Letterboxd review and plenty of good vibes.
So let’s gear up for this epic ride of stylish action, revenge, and all the Tarantino flair we love. This is the perfect chance to experience the Bride’s full story on the big screen.

👋 Hello everyone, let’s meet up for another gathering of minds and movie lovers! This time we’ll be watching the latest thriller written and directed by Jafar Panahi. It's a co-production between Iran, France, and Luxembourg.
The film follows a group of former Iranian political prisoners who face the question of whether to exact revenge on a man they believe may have been their tormentor. It’s one of those complex plots that I think we’ll all enjoy discussing afterward.
We’ll start off with a meet-and-greet at the classy Curzon Bloomsbury lounge bar before heading over to the Renoir Screen. I’ve booked Seat D6, but feel free to choose whichever seat suits you best. After the film, we’ll regroup for a relaxed film discussion and review, and I’ll include everyone’s thoughts on our Letterboxd Page..
