👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON!
London’s biggest film club — built by fans, for fans. We’re a buzzing community of movie lovers, indie filmmakers, comic geeks, and creators who live and breathe cinema. From cult classics to hidden gems, big-screen blockbusters to indie passion projects — we just love getting lost in movies.
We meet regularly for screenings, grab drinks after, and rave (or rant) together on our Letterboxd Page. You’ll often find us at our BFI Riverfront Socials — always a vibe. We stay on top of film news, and our members help vote on what we watch next via WhatsApp or Telegram (unlocked after your first meetup).
We also aim to make an effort to support independent cinema — from The Film Festival Guild to the Prince Charles Cinema, the BFI, Medicinema, and more. That means we sometimes get special perks, early screenings, and the chance to hit the road for exciting festivals. From film quizzes to chill pub nights, there’s always something going on.

I’m very excited about this 40th anniversary screening of one of my all-time favourite films. It’s the slickest time-travel story ever told, and I’m always thrilled to celebrate it whenever it rolls around again.The whole trilogy plays like one perfectly condensed adventure, but this year, we’re spotlighting the original masterpiece by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale. It’s pure cinematic joy: endlessly re-watchable, packed with heart, and featuring that legendary DeLorean.
It's also worth checking out: the excellent Back in Time”documentary, a fun deep dive into the fandom and legacy.
We’ll be meeting at the Victory House Wine Bar (right next to the cinema) to grab drinks and chat before heading in together, and then we’ll see where the night (or time machine) takes us.
Let’s set Doc Brown’s flux capacitor from November 2025 to October 1985 and hopefully come back in one piece!

Because why we can’t prove they exist.Hi guys 👋 Let’s catch up for a special surreal screening of the latest mind-bending creation from Yorgos Lanthimos. I thought it’d be nice to move this one to Sunday, just to give everyone a little breather after the Halloween festivities, and this is the perfect way to unwind and dive into something new and intriguing.
Bugonia, as I understand it, promises to be a unique journey into the bizarre and beautiful, blending Lanthimos’ signature style with a haunting, imaginative narrative. So if you love a good dose of surreal storytelling, this may be up your alley.
We’ll have our usual cozy setup at The Curzon Soho (on the lower ground floor) lounge area across the bar. I’ve booked Seat A8 (front row), but no pressure to sit up there with me — feel free to pick wherever’s comfortable. Afterwards, we’ll regroup for a relaxed review and discussion of the film. And of course, we’ll be sharing our scores and thoughts over on our Letterboxd Page.
Should be a chilled Sunday afternoon — and as always, the great company of fellow film lovers makes it even better.

Hello everyone 👋 We’re meeting up again at BFI Southbank for one of the premiere screenings of the London Korean Film Festival — Frozen Window, the latest project by Kim Jong-kwan.
This is an anthology composed of three episodes, each set in a different season in the Seochon neighbourhood of Seoul’s Jongno District. Delicate and witty, metacinematic and melancholic, it’s a Rohmer-esque love letter to Seochon, and to our capacity for both fickleness and profound change.
The Festival should be very lively, with many visitors from everywhere and likely to sell out fast, so best buy your tickets advance to avoid disappointment. We’ll be meeting by the main BFI Box Office, then head towards NFT 1 and the and Q&A. After we will head to the BFI Bar for our Film Review and some drinks.
It will be a fun night out and I look forward to seeing you there 🌸

👋 Hey guys! We’re watching the brand-new sequel in the Predator series. This one’s directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who helped revive the franchise with the 2020 Hulu original Prey. Even though this is the seventh mainline instalment (ninth overall), you don't need to watch the rest of the movies.
The story follows a young Predator outcast from his clan finds an unlikely ally on his journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
We’ll be catching up at the bar inside the Vue Islington Cinema—it’s right within the venue, so just head on in and you’ll find us there!. I’ve chosen seat A10 in Screen 3, but feel free to pick whatever seat you like. We’ll be meeting up afterwards for a casual film review, and we’ll add all our thoughts and scores to our Letterboxd Page .
