About us
👋 HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON!
London’s biggest film club — built by movie fans, for movie fans. We’re a buzzing community of movie lovers, indie filmmakers, comic geeks, and creators who live and breathe cinema. From cult classics to hidden gems, big-screen blockbusters to indie passion projects — we just love getting lost in movies.
We meet regularly for screenings, grab drinks after, and rave (or rant) together on our Letterboxd Page. You’ll often find us at our BFI Riverfront Socials — always a vibe. We stay on top of film news, and our members help vote on what we watch next via WhatsApp or Telegram (unlocked after your first meetup).
We aim to support independent cinema—whether at the Prince Charles Cinema, vibrant film festivals, or the BFI. That means we often enjoy special perks, early screenings, and exciting festival trips. From film quizzes to chill pub nights, there’s always something happening.
Come hang with a bunch of awesome film fans, and pull up a seat at the Roadhouse — we’d love to have you with us. 🎬

👠🎬 THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2 (FILM & SOCIAL)
Picturehouse Central, 15 Great Windmill Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, London, GB💄 Trends fade. Style remains… but good fashion always makes a comeback, right on schedule.
👋 Hey everyone! Let’s step back into cinematic nostalgia with a fresh new fashion affair. The original film is one of our all-time favorites, and having the original cast and director back gives us real goosebumps. It’s the perfect chance to revisit the classic Runway flair now reimagined in a bold digital era.
Directed once again by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, this sequel follows a seasoned Miranda Priestly as she navigates the decline of traditional print media, forced to face off against her former assistant, Emily Charlton, now a powerful luxury executive. Let’s see if this sequel can live up to the iconic fashion legacy we all remember.
We'll meet at the Picturehouse café-bar downstairs at 4 p.m, in the middle section by the large tables. Afterward, we’ll head to screen one. Our seats are F25 to F28, if you’d like to join us in that same row. Once the film ends, we’ll gather upstairs in the main bar for some discussion, commentary, and a Letterboxd review..
Let’s shape this into a stylish afternoon and evening or come dressed to impress for a proper fashion-forward vibe.
Can’t wait to see you all there!

💋🎬 THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (DRESS UP SINGALONG)
Victory House French Bistrot & Wine Bar, 14 Leicester Pl, London WC2H 7BZ, London, GB💄 A different kind of outstanding... because there’s no crime in giving yourself to this strange journey.
👋Hello, everybody! Join me for a night of pure, wild fun at The Rocky Horror Picture Show! This a cult classic that you really must see for yourself if you haven’t already!
It originally premiered in 1975, directed by Jim Sharman. It’s this campy, rock-and-roll sci-fi horror parody, bursting with color and energy, led by the incomparable Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter. And what really sets it apart is its incredible longevity—people still flock to midnight screenings, dressing up, shouting lines, and making it a truly interactive, electric experience. It’s a whole vibe!
Our plan for the evening is exactly that—we’ll be singing along and dressing up! No pressure on the costumes, but if you do, I promise you, we’re going to have an absolutely fantastic time.
We’ll meet at Victory House Wine Bar around 7 p.m., and then head to one of my favourite cinemas, the Prince Charles Cinema. And oh, I’ll be in seat A6 if you’d like to join me there!
After the show, we’ll regroup for a bit more fun—and I can’t wait to see you all tonight!

🐉🎬 MORTAL KOMBAT II (IMAX)
Leicester Square, Leicester Square , Email us at contact@xxclusive.co.uk, London, GB🤺 Rebel without a cage — with an uncaged fury that hints at heroes breaking free to unleash raw power.
👋 Hey everyone! Let’s gear up for a fun, relaxed Saturday afternoon at the movies as we head into the arena with the long-awaited Mortal Kombat Sequel. This new chapter, directed once again by Simon McQuoid, will continue the iconic video game adaptation, expanding the brutal world of Earthrealm and its champions.
The story will follow these champions as they're forced into battle once again — this time facing the looming rise of Shao Kahn, whose threat could mean the end of everything they’re fighting to protect.
We’ll keep things easygoing with a casual pre-social before the movie, then head into the IMAX screening together. Afterward, we’ll wrap up with a brief, informal film chat for anyone who wants to stick around. More details — including timings and meetup spot — will be updated closer to the date.
Mark your calendars, and see you there!

Hey everyone 👋
This year’s films may still be warming up, but we’ve already had a few interesting releases. Project Hail Mary and Good Luck Have Fun Don’t Die have definitely given us something to talk about. And there’s a huge lineup ahead Nolan, Villeneuve, Spielberg, Eggers, the Russos… even Abrams is making an unexpected comeback! They’re all racing to release films before AI takes over cinema… or so they say—so trust me, there’s a lot to look forward to.
If this your first time joining us, we’re just a laid-back group of film fans and creatives who enjoy good conversation and meeting like-minded people.
We’ll be meeting at the BFI Riverfront: Balcony Bar, overlooking the Thames. Right in the heart of the British Film Institute, it’s a perfect setting for film lovers, with great food, drinks, and plenty of space to relax—inside or out on the balcony. Check out the full details below.
Whether you’ve discovered something unexpected or have a film you can’t stop talking about, come along for an easygoing evening, great company, and a toast to the stories still to come.
