It’s that feeling of moving yet standing still. As if no matter how high I climb or how far I go, I’m only running in circles, still searching for something. Perhaps, in the end, we’re not meant to arrive anywhere at all, but only to learn how to live, to serve, and to love.

What’s going on guys 👋 When you think of Stephen King, then you probably think of nightmares, but sometimes it could be about dreams, and searching for meaning. By the way, I meant every word I said above. Anyway, this film is based on one of his short stories from the If It Bleeds collection. It’s a fantasy-drama directed by Mike Flanagan, who you might know from Oculus and Doctor Sleep, two films I still think are underrated to this day. He also directed the critically acclaimed The Haunting of Hill House, which was as emotional as it was supernatural.

This might be one of those “acquired taste” movies you know, the kind some people love and others don’t. But I’ve always liked them marmite films. And I think this one is worth discovering together, my friends. I’ll be back soon with the details and times for the meetup. Chat to you soon.
