πŸ₯€ A Rohmer-esque anthology film giving an honest portrait of the human condition in Seochon, Seoul.

Hello everyone, Giulia here πŸ‘‹ We’re meeting up again at BFI Southbank for one of the premiere screenings of the London Korean Film Festival β€” Frozen Window, the latest project by Kim Jong-kwan.

This anthology is composed of three episodes, each set in a different season in the Seochon neighbourhood of Seoul’s Jongno District. Delicate and witty, metacinematic and melancholic, it’s a Rohmer-esque love letter to Seochon, and to our capacity for both fickleness and profound change.

We’ll be meeting for the film, the Q&A, and of course, a discussion of our own afterward. Please follow us on Instagram for updates, and please let me know if you can’t make it. See you there! 🌸
