Alright guys 👋, let’s meet up for a nostalgic trip back to Eternia, where you can channel your favorite heroes and villains. Feel free to come dressed in retro or fantasy-inspired outfits if you’d like—totally optional, but definitely fun!

This new adaptation is directed by Travis Knight. This time around, we’ll follow a ten-year-old Adam who lands on Earth, separated from the power sword of Grayskull. Two decades later, he reclaims the sword, becomes He-Man, and fights to save Eternia from the evil forces of Skeletor. They’ll probably play around with the mythology a bit, but it should be a fun and goofy late afternoon.

We’ll have some pre-drinks before the movie and a Letterboxd Review & Social afterward. I’ll update you on the final details closer to the time.

Now, the real question is: will Cringer become the almighty Battle Cat? See you guys at the meetup!
