👋 What's up guys, I was honestly planning to avoid this Oscar contender altogether, until some friends gaslit me into going! So, what the hell—now a few of us are heading to see it! Since it’s an early weekday start, we’ll meet at the Prince Charles Cinema bar, 15 minutes pre-program.
The film is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and will be presented in 70 mm format. The story follows a washed-up revolutionary living off-grid with his fiercely independent daughter, Willa. When his old nemesis returns and Willa vanishes, both father and daughter face the fallout of their past
We’ll be sitting in Row E, seats 1 to 4, and the film will be shown in Screen One. After the film, we can grab drinks and review the film for Letterboxd—and see if it deserves its nomination. Though, deep down, we know it’s all rigged! 😉
