👋 Hello everyone! We’re meeting for one of the festival’s lineups that I found really intriguing. The Real You, is from award-winning director Yuya Ishii, which takes us into a near future where a man grapples with his mother’s death and a digital recreation of her, exploring truth and technology.

This film is part of the Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme, the UK's largest annual traveling film festival showcasing Japanese cinema. It runs from February to March, so definitely check the website for other exciting lineups!

We’ll meet at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in the café area at 5:50 PM, then proceed to the cinema. Seats aren’t numbered, so we’ll grab spots together. Afterward, we’ll head for drinks, discussion, and a fun review.
