👋 Hi guys! We’re heading back to Eternia for a nostalgic return to the world of Masters of the Universe. This new adaptation is directed by Travis Knight, who will likely bring a fresh spin to the mythology while keeping the classic fantasy and sci fi spirit alive.
The premise follows a ten-year-old Adam who lands on Earth, separated from the power sword of Grayskull. Two decades later, he reclaims the sword, becomes He-Man, and fights to save Eternia from the evil forces of Skeletor.
The Meetup: We’ll be meeting for pre drinks at 6:00 PM at the Oscars Bar inside Odeon West End (please don’t confuse this with Leicester Square). Then we'll be watching the film in Screen One at 7:00PM where you will find in Row 38A if want to sit near by.
After the film, we’ll reconvene for our usual commentary and Letterboxd review, and will likely continue the night with more drinks around town. You’ll find the full schedule breakdown, tickets, and addresses below. And by the power of Grayskull......
