🪵 Some find love, some find a hard man... and then, there are those who just resort to making him...

👋 Hello everyone! We'll be spending Halloween night in the company of wicker!

The story follows a lonely fisherwoman who, tired of being ridiculed by her neighbours, commissions herself a husband made entirely from wicker, sparking outrage, jealousy and chaos in her conservative seaside village.

The Meetup: We'll meet at 4:45 pm in the upstairs café at Picturehouse Central, before heading to the 5:30 pm screening in Screen 4. My seat is F10, and you're welcome to choose your preferred seat.

After the film, we'll regroup again at around 7:45 pm in the cinema bar for drinks, conversation and our usual film discussion, where we'll share our thoughts and collect everyone's scores for Letterboxd.

It should be a rather unusual way to spend Halloween, but hopefully one that gives us plenty to talk about!
