IN PERSON - Sorry, Baby at AMC East Hanover, Discussion at The Office

**DATE AND TIME CHANGE** - Due to a conflict with the Drew Shakespeare Theater event, this event has been moved to SUNDAY, July 27 at 12:45 pm. We will have a late lunch at The Office instead of dinner. Apologies to those who have already bought tickets for Saturday. I am going to get a refund for my Saturday ticket and buy the same seat for Sunday at 12:45 pm. I hope you all can still attend!

Writer-director-star Eva Victor's debut feature follows Agnes (Victor), a graduate student turned literature professor, over five years. Moving backward and forward in time, Victor reveals the complexity of Agnes's attempt to recover from a traumatic incident. Agnes finds comfort and possibility in her best friend Lydia (Naomi Ackie), her friendly neighbor (Lucas Hedges), and a cat. Victor won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival, the first of what could be multiple awards for one of this year's best-reviewed films.

The film is characterized as a dark comedy drama, and is a NY Times Critics Pick and is currently the best-reviewed film of the year at Metacritic, with a score of 88. At Rotten Tomatoes, it has a critics score of 97% and an audience score of 96%.

We will see the 12:45 pm screening at AMC East Hanover. Tickets are on sale now, and it is in a small auditorium, so I am going to buy my ticket today. After the film we will meet just outside the auditorium, and head to The Office in East Hanover (240 NJ-10, East Hanover, NJ 07936) for discussion. I am going to aim for a table outside on their patio if the weather is nice.
