Hi all writers,
This is Rishabh. I have started a writing panel with a few friends of mine, who like me are interested in writing. This is a simple concept where each of us write successive piece in a story without knowing what the previous person intended to write. There is a word count limit in order to prevent any one person from droning on endlessly.
This turned out to be extremely interesting and fun. Subsequently, we even had a round of feedback, since all are aspiring writers and constructive criticism is likely to be of great help.
However, I know very few people who are seriously interested in writing and would love to have more such writing groups. Hence, I have created a group on this forum, where I presume everyone is somewhat serious about writing.
In my view this is a great way of sharpening your writing skills, broadening your imagination, and getting some pointers on improvement besides being tremendous fun. Also, once groups are formed and e-mail ID's exchanged, we do not really need to meet very often either.
So interested writers, who are kicked about this idea, please join in. Writing doesn't really need to be a lonely job.
