
What we’re about
Welcome to Munich Mindfulness: Walk, Reflect, Connect! 🌄
A safe space to practice walking meditation at a normal pace, with a short pre-check and post-check to share how we feel or anything we’d like to express, supported by some guiding questions.
- ⏳️Duration: Pre-check 30 minutes (talking), mindful walk 60 minutes (silent, no talking, no chitchat), post-check 30 minutes (talking, no chitchat).*
- 📆Frequency: Weekly, usually on the weekends.
- 📍Location: Schloss Nymphenburg, Olympiapark, Luitpoldpark, Englischer Garten, Westpark, Maximiliansanlagen, and Ostpark.
- 🗣Language: As Munich is a beautiful international city, events are held in English.
- 🚶♀️Pace: The pace is 4–5 km/h — we neither run nor walk fast, nor do the super slow walking meditation. We walk silently as a group, appreciating our surroundings both visually and acoustically 🍂🍁🌳🌲🐦⬛🐦
- 📏Distance: The mindful walk covers 4–5 km. If we walk during the pre-check or post-check, those extra steps add to the total distance.
- 👣Who can join: Everyone is welcome — of any age — as long as you feel comfortable maintaining a steady walk at this pace and distance.
- ⚠️Note: Please take part mindfully and at your own discretion. Each participant is responsible for their own well-being during the walk.

*If 60 minutes feels like too much, you’re welcome to join for 30 minutes instead. Please note that if some participants choose 30 minutes while others continue for the full 60, the post-check will only be available for those completing the full walk.
💛 Events are free. A small voluntary donation to help cover Meetup expenses is welcome.
