Sunday Open Meditation
Nalanda West, 3902 Woodland Park Ave N, Seattle, WA, USSundays, Jan 4–Feb 8, 2026
10a-12p
The Four Reminders are also known as Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind Towards Dharma. These contemplations include our precious human birth, impermanence and death, karma (cause and effect), and the sufferings of samsara. By reflecting on these reminders within a mind training or lojong context, we can bring these reminders into our everyday life.
Acharya Tashi will join us on Sundays in early 2026 to share some tools for contemplating these so-called preliminaries from a mind training point of view.
Schedule
10:00–11:00a Open Meditation (sitting & walking)
11:00a–12:00p Dharma Talk by Acharya Tashi
12:00–1:00p (optional) Potluck Lunch
