Bringing Mindfulness and Nature in Family Live
What is this group about?
- The purpose of the group is to meet together parents that are interested to bring in their family life more mindfulness and more nature experiences.
- It is all about how to become a mindful and kindful parent in a playful and creative way with a lot of self-compassion involved.
- It is to bring mindfulness and families together in nature, through fun activities
- To explore different ways to mindfully connect and reconnect with nature, with family and self.
- Find how connection with nature is beneficial to your mental health
- Get kids (and yourself) out of the screens
Who should join in?
This group is for you:
- If you already are a parent or just planning to become one.
- Your kids are any age from newborn up to teenage
- You are interested in Mindfulness and would like to learn more and eventually become a Mindful Parent.
- You would like to spend more quality time in Nature.
- Become part of a community of like-minded folks.
- If you like to learn new things in a playful and creative way.
- You like to explore new tools for improving wellbeing and mental health.
What will we do?
- We will meet once a month in the park of Chiswick House and Gardens, London, W4 2RP for a Nature Walk and Fun Nature Activities together.
- Walks are scheduled usually every 3rd Sunday of the month, from 10.00 am to 12.00 am.
- Each month we will explore different topics related to Nature and Mindfulness.
- Each Nature Walk is packed with fun activities for both kids and parents.
Our Venue:
- All our Nature Walks are happened at the beautiful park of Chiswick House and Gardens, W4 2RP.

- We always meet and start the walks in front of the Chiswick House and Gardens Café.
Health and Safety - Community Guidelines
- Meetup members need to be at least 18 years old.
- While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.
- You can learn more about the age policies in Meetup community guidelines.
- Dogs are not allowed on our walks, as we don't know if other participants feel comfortable with them.

Hi, dear mindful & kindful families,
Let’s come together to our Spring Treasures: Flowers in bloom in our beloved Chiswick House and Gardens park, London (W4 2RP).
Our February Nature Walk is fully dedicated to all spring treasures - sprouting trees, flowers in bloom, buzzing bees, busy birds and many more. Grab yourself a magnifying glass and join us for a Sensory Scavenger Hunt !
We will set ourselves on the adventure to discover the marvels of spring.
We will start as usual by gathering in front of the Chiswick House Cafe. We will spend some time introducing each other and will start our walk at 10.15 am promptly.
You do not need to bring anything special. All materials will be provided by us.WHERE?

WHO ?- All members of the group are very much welcome!
- You are also welcomed to bring friends along (up to 4 friends permitted by a member). If you'd like to invite more friends - NO PROBLEM, just please ask them to subscribe to our Meetup group.
- Come along with family and kids or on your own.
- For the group to be in compliance with the community guidelines, all event attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them.
- Dogs are not allowed on our walks, as we do not know if all participants are comfortable with them.
Health and Safety
- Please, have a look at the weather forecast before preparing for the walk and make sure you have the appropriate clothes and shoes on.
- Make sure your shoes are comfortable.
- The walk could be canceled in the event of strong wind or other extreme weather conditions.
Mild rain will not stop us ;-)
You may consider to bring with you one of those:
- Small and comfortable backpack
- Water or any other refreshing drink;
- Small bag for collecting nature treasures along the way (feathers, pinecones, pebbles, sticks, leaves, etc.)
- Notebook and pencils/felt tips/paints for journaling or sketching;
- Pair of binoculars (if you have one)
- Magnifying glass

There are WC facilities near the Cafe.IMPORTANT NOTE ! Please, RSVP only if you really intent to come. If you need to cancel, please log on and do it, so somebody from the waiting list could join. Thank you for understanding!

Our APRIL Nature Walk is fully dedicated to all spring treasures - sprouting trees, flowers, buzzing bees, birds busy with building their nests and many more. Grab yourself a magnifying glass and join us for a Sensory Scavenger Hunt and making knots session !
We will set ourselves on the adventure to discover the marvels of spring and to learn how birds build their nests.
We will learn some knots and how to make mini-structures in order to make our very own birds' nests.
We will start as usual by gathering in front of the Chiswick House Cafe. We will spend some time introducing each other and will start our walk at 10.15 am promptly.
You do not need to bring anything special. All materials will be provided by us.
