One hour power session using body doubling. Ok to use for work or personal progress! Monday morning sessions will be shared with the other Meetup group that I present in, which is gender inclusive.
Bring that item you've been procrastinating on. Maybe something that needs a good pencil to paper brainstorming session. Or maybe you need to sit down and write an essay, or balance your checking account, or plan out a better laundry schedule. It doesn't matter. If you need to focus your attention, let's use the pack mentality to help give us an incredibly productive hour. Plan to stay on screen the whole time, the point is to not wander mentally or physically.
We will start with a short introduction where you just give your first name and what your intention is for the hour. For example "I'm Meredith and I want to create 8 slides for my next presentation". Once our intentions are set, we work independently, together, creating a focused atmosphere to help smooth the way.
Intention setting will happen right away (which is a powerful part of this whole thing), so feel free to sign in a few minutes early. If you arrive after we have set intentions and everyone is working, you may not be able to set intentions out loud, but please put them in the comments and jump right into work. I will do my best to let you back in if you do get disconnected mid-session for any reason.
