Free Your Closet Clothing Exchange

Get rid of all those clothes that don't fit, aren't flattering, or just don't get worn--find something new & fun to wear!
Here's how it works:

1. Clean out your closets and jewelry bins. Shirts, pants, dresses, shoes, belts, bags, earrings: any clothes or accessories are fair game. Bring with you anything that you don't care to keep anymore. You won't get it back! This isn't about borrowing. Make sure you are okay with letting it go for-ev-er.
2. At the party, we'll hold up the clothing items for everyone to call dibs. If more than one lady is interested, the person with the smallest pile of things to take home gets dibs.
3. Afterwards, you can go through the reject pile for anything you might've missed or thought twice about, and finish trying things on. We'll also open up the accessories table for the taking!
4. Any items not claimed will be donated--we'll consolidate the leftovers and decide who will drop them off.

You should bring with you:

• Your clothing & accessories to give away.
• Snack or beverage to share.

Other things to know:

• This event is cross-posted with Nerdy 40s. Invite another girlfriend not in the group, if you like! The more, the merrier (and more options for everyone!).
• This event is in a busy Denver neighborhood/apartment, so please pay attention to location and instructions for drop-off and street parking - emailed a few days in advance!
• Judgement-free zone! E.g., if neon parachute pants are not your thing, please no judgy comments about the woman finally willing to part with her holdover pair or the woman excited to take them home.
• Totally optional: tell people the clothing sizes you expect to bring in the comments before the event - ONLY if you feel comfortable. Sometimes people prefer to have some idea of if they can expect to find their sizes before they commit, so posting/discussion is allowed but not required!
