Science Lounge is getting a glam makeover, and we want you to be our prom date! This 21+ experience lets you sip your favorite cocktail or mocktail as you explore our exhibitions after hours and discover science in a whole new way. Whether you're planning a date night, gathering the friend group or seeking a fresh spark of inspiration to express yourself, you’ll find a night you won’t experience anywhere else.

Every Science Lounge features:

• Expert Mini Lectures: Our Museum Scientists serve up quick, fascinating deep dives into the night’s theme. From eerie specimens to wild animal courtship, you’ll leave with fun facts perfect for your next party.
• Curated Collections & Archives: Roughly 2% of our entire Museum collections are ever on display… unless it’s a Science Lounge night. We bring out rarely seen artifacts and archival treasures just for Science Lounge guests where you’ll also have the opportunity to engage with our incredible Educator Performers to learn, laugh and explore new ways of experiencing nature, space and science.
• Hands-On Science Activations: Ever wanted a closer look at our science demos without distractions? Enjoy interactive science in a relaxed, grown-up setting—because curiosity has no age limit.
• Specialty Cocktails & Mocktails: Wander the Museum after dark with a crafted drink in hand and soak in those perfect “Museum Moments.”
