Welcome to the Neurodiverse Meetup Lake County group! Are you an adult over 18 and identify as neurodiverse? Join this group to connect with other neurodiverse folks in the Chicagoland area. This group is run by Amy, a librarian at the Ela Area Public Library who is AuDHD.

Hobbit Tea
Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trl, Lake Zurich, IL, US“I think I am quite ready for another adventure” -Bilbo Baggins, Return of the King film.
Gather your fellowship and join us for a 90-minute immersive afternoon tea celebrating the 25th anniversary of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
Please note: You will need to register with the Ela Area Public Library here to reserve your spot.
Come ready to relax and enjoy the finer things in life just as Tolkien intended. Your ticket to the Shire includes a variety of teas, a delectable assortment of sweet and savory treats, and an afternoon of entertainment featuring crafts, music, and trivia.
Dress Code: We welcome all manner of Middle-earth attire! Full cosplay is welcomed, but themed t-shirts and casual fandom wear are equally welcome. Come comfortable and ready to celebrate.
Spaces are strictly limited for this 90-minute experience, so register early to secure your spot at the table!

Neurodiverse Meetup
Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trl, Lake Zurich, IL, USDo you identify as neurodivergent? Amy, a librarian who identifies as AuDHD runs a neurodiverse meetup group at the library. Open to adults 18+ with Autism level 1 diagnosis, ADHD, or otherwise identify as neurodivergent (note: you must be able to hold a conversation to attend this event) are welcome to this informal 90 minute gathering. This is a monthly group that will be a safe place to socialize, play some games, craft, and connect with each other. Light refreshments will be served.
