I started this group because I have always loved the atmosphere of medieval fairs, but I remember how overwhelming they can feel the first time you go. Whether you are curious about dressing up for the first time, want to learn how to navigate the different stages and vendors, or just want to explore the grounds with a friendly group of people, this is the place for you. We focus on keeping things low-pressure and welcoming for anyone who is just starting to discover this hobby.
Our goal is to get together for local fairs and festivals, share tips on putting together simple costumes, and generally just enjoy the day without any of the gatekeeping. You do not need to be a history buff or own a closet full of gear to join us. If you have been looking for an excuse to go to a fair but did not want to go alone or figure it out by yourself, come walk around with us.
