What we’re about
Thinking about a game of Canasta, or Hand and Foot? Then we are the group for you. We are good at teaching complete beginners how to play and gained this experience in those strange years around 2020.
We play each other (real people) on-line. This is not playing against an App.
A basic Windows laptop is just great though you can manage with a large ipad using Safari plus a mobile phone.
Firstly “Request to Join” this group and we will be in contact by Meetup messages.
We will send you a link to one of our playing tables on the playingcards.io website.
We used to use Zoom to do our chatting but are now considering changing to Discord so you will also get some instructions on how to download that. Until we convert those members who will be doing the teaching to Discord we are only taking on new members based in the UK.
Each evening a little before 7 pm we meet on Discord and break off in fours to the playing rooms.
