The 8th Annual Denville Polar Plunge is happening at Cooks Pond in Denville on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 12:00 PM!

Take the plunge for a great cause — all proceeds benefit Denville S.P.A.R.K., a local nonprofit supporting young adults with developmental challenges.

Denville Polar Plunge
Schedule of Events:
March 21, 2026 at Cooks Pond in Denville, NJ
10:30am - Registrations Opens
11:45am - Registration Closes
11:45am - Safety Meeting
11:55am - National Anthem
NOON - We Plunge!!!

Rules:
Must be 9 years old to plunge.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian at the Plunge with them throughout the event.
All plungers and/or guardians of minor Plungers must sign a waiver at the event prior to plunging.
Alcohol/recreational drugs are not allowed. Anyone deemed under the influence will be prohibited from participating.
You must wear sneakers or water shoes to plunge. Surfaces are wet and slippery!
No flips or diving

Helpful things to wear/bring:
Bathing suit or costume (Family friendly, of course!)
Old shoes to plunge in
Warm towel to dry off with
Dry clothes/shoes (Changing tents available for use)
Plastic garbage bag for wet clothes
Leave valuables/jewelry at home. Wet rings can fall off in the cold water!
A friend to Plunge with!
Family and friends to cheer you on!

The event is rain or shine! In the event of a major snowstorm, thunderstorm, or if the lake is frozen, the make-up date would Saturday, March 28th at NOON.
