laser cutter maintenance

The laser cutter is not operational :(

I spoke with a technician (http://www.applied-laser.com/Anorad.html). He said that if the tube turns on (glows pink/purple) and we've already tried cleaning the optics, to check the pressure of the CO2. Some lasers come with a reservoir that you can use to fix this, and we should check the manual of ours. He said based on our usage (i said a couple hours a day for 3 years) he wouldn't expect that the tube would need to be replaced. Let's go through the manual together and see what we can do to fix our beloved laser cutter.

If we can't figure it out, we can hire him to come take a look next week at $150 an hour.
