Roasting Coffee at Home!

Roasting your own coffee beans can be a fun and affordable way to explore coffee and enjoy some great brew at home!

We'll talk briefly about coffee plants and the Bay Area's history in the coffee trade, share some low-cost techniques for home coffee roasting and some places where you can find green coffee in the Bay. You can try roasting coffee (with a popcorn popper) and even take some green or roasted coffee beans home with you!

We'll meet at Noisebridge on the front porch. Because this is outdoors, our workshop may reschedule in the event of rain!

If you've never been to Noisebridge before this is a great opportunity to check the space out. All are welcome.

Noisebridge is 100% run by volunteers and donations. We ask a $10-$20 sliding scale donation for supplies and to help keep our doors open! You can support us via cash box, Venmo, Paypal, or Credit Card. NOTAFLOF.
