A fun class for folks who have some hand sewing background and a bit of machine, too. Even if only a little.

Teacher: Ellen and Aaron or Ken or Noah. We will introduce several ways to use tech to incorporate lights into clothes and fabric sculptures with hand sewing and machine sewing techniques. LEDs, conductive threads, translucent materials and a few other crafts demo-ed.

The focus of this class is attaching the items to fabric, leather or other wearable item (bike helmet, for example).

Just in time for the Oakland Bike Party on Friday! Light up the night with cool threads and great vibes! (The SF ride is the 6th)

Class is $15 and there may be a materials fee of 10. We do have a sliding scale if the class fee is steep, contact the host.
