Who's at the Door? Build a Sensor and Pretend You're Batman (CHM)

Details

Ever wanted to build something cool without needing a PhD in rocket science? In this class, you'll build a smart door motion sensor that tells you when someone is creeping up to your door — and streams that info straight to a website!

No experience? No problem.

If you can tell the difference between a wire and a spaghetti noodle, you're ready.

You'll learn how to:

  • Connect an IR motion sensor to an ESP32 (don't worry, we'll explain what those are).
  • Send real-time alerts to a simple website (yes, real-time, like in spy movies).
  • Feel like a tech wizard, even if you've never coded a day in your life.

By the end of this class, you'll have a working "door detector" you can brag about to your friends, family, and that one nosy neighbor.
Come join us — your future nerdy self will thank you.
