NEW: Create and Print Digital Images on T-shirts via our DTG Machine

Details

Imagine printing on a shirt with the ease of printing on paper with an ink jet? Using any digital image you want, like photographs, vector graphics or pen and ink drawings scanned in. Come learn how with our new Direct to Garment (DTG) printer, the latest generation in surface design.

This is a new program for Noisebridge so we are really excited to bring it to you. Bring a clean blank T-shirt and/or another clean blank clothing item.

Teaching will be Nic, the talented clothing artist who teaches our embroidery classes. He has been using the machine to create bespoke designs on denim and jersey. He will help us to understand the design potential of this multi-thousand dollar aparatus.

Also, with us will be Nick, the graphic design/game design pro who brought the machine to Noisebridge. He is an expert on the mechanics and the chemical aspects of this system. For more information on the Noisebridge program he has set up, please go here: https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/DTG_Printing

There is a suggested donation for this class since the expense of the ink is quite high. If you need a financial accommodation, please contact the organizer before class. Class is open to all but is on the 2nd floor, accessibility issues may need to be addressed by contacting the organizer at least 3 days ahead of time.
