Sewing 113: Hacking Jeans-patching, mending hemming by hand and machine

Details
Hacking Jeans, a series.
This is part one in a series of 3 classes:
1. Intro to mending jeans
2. Tailoring jeans to fit or for fashion
3. Designing and creating ones own jeans
This part 1 class is for beginners but may be of interest to folks who have some sewing skills and would like to see some new techniques or share some techniques.
Denim is a great fabric to learn a lot of sewing techniques on: practical, forgiving of mistakes. It is easy with the right tools. We will go over some of the tools that will help to make sewing on denim easier.
Bring jeans you want to mend but WASH them TWICE before hand since we will all be in a smallish room with not that much ventilation. If you have a sewing machine you would like help setting up for denim, bring it.
This class is on the 2nd floor, if you need accessibility accommodations contact the organizer at least 2 days before the class. There is a suggested donation to support Noisebridge, contact the organizer if you need or want a discount code.
