Melt Metal, Make Magic: Soldering for All Ages (CHM)

In Melt Metal, Make Magic, you’ll learn the fundamentals of soldering in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. No experience needed — just curiosity and a steady hand (or at least a willing one).
We’ll cover:

• What soldering is and how it works
• How to safely use a soldering iron
• The difference between good joints and… not-so-good ones
• Basic electronic components and how they connect

Then you’ll get hands-on practice building a simple take-home project you can be proud of.
This class is designed for all ages (kids welcome with a supervising adult). Whether you're brand new to electronics, a curious tinkerer, or someone who just wants to learn a useful life skill, this workshop is for you.
By the end, you’ll:

• Feel confident using a soldering iron
• Understand basic circuit connections
• Leave with something you built yourself
