Graphicsbridge
Details
A new monthly event at Noisebridge for people interesting in computer graphics and low level game engine programming.
Interested in learning how GPUs actually put pixels on a screen?
Do you find yourself day dreaming about SDF functions?
Maybe you are already are working on something cool and just want to show it off?
Whether you just got your first Vulkan triangle on the screen or if you are 100k+ LOC deep into building a custom rendering engine this is the event for you.
Some expected topics of discussion include authoring shaders, asset pipelines, light transport algorithms, rendering APIs, game console emulations, advanced rendering techniques, etc.
This Saturday we will have two main topics of discussion/demoing:
- a 4D projection wireframe renderer (and eventual game engine), running in WebGL. current progress: 3D and 4D rotation implemented, working on translation
- Hardware raytracing: API overview and open discussion.
