THE EVENT: Planning social - during this meeting, leaders talk about past trips, we'll briefly discuss trip guidelines, and leaders / members can bring their trip ideas for 2026!

It is a repeat of last year's event in a new venue!

The plan is to give a slide show and then conduct a trip planning brainstorm session.

Socializing is included, perhaps might be best to retreat to a nearby off-site location for refreshments.

THE SPACE: César E. Chávez Library Branch Meeting Room in Oakland Fruitvale Village.

ONLINE AVAILABILITY: We will attempt to stream the event (probably on Zoom or Google Meet) to allow people to participate remotely. Wi Fi exists in the meeting space. However, you will gain more from the event by attending in person.

REFRESHMENTS / POT LUCK / DRINKS: Not sure this will be allowed. I need to ask - check back for updates.

BIKE PARKING: Secure bike parking available near the BART station (Bike Link lockers). The library itself is small and does not accomodate bicycles inside.
