Earth art offering

Nature’s beauty is everywhere. Join us as we create a natural mandala as an offering to Mother Earth. We’ll recognize our connection to the wild life, express our artistic spirit, explore shapes and patterns, practice mindfulness, and create and witness the impermanence of art.

Prior to the event, wander through your neighborhood, along a nature trail, among foothill oaks or Sierra pines, or along a sandy beach—any place that calls you. Gather fallen acorns, berries, flowers, leaves and petals... Harvest driftwood, feathers, roots, sticks, shells and stones… Look with awe-open eyes as you collect nature’s gifts in a basket or bag.

Bring your collection of treasures, and a notebook and pen if you enjoy journaling, to the event. We’ll meet at 585 Sacramento Street in Auburn at 10:00 a.m. We’ll end prior to lunch, so please bring a personal snack if needed. We'll provide fruit-infused water as a refreshment.
