Hey Note Lovers, it's Carolyn here. Come join us for a Classical Tango Ensemble, at Gatineau Citizen's House!

This is part of a lovely series of performances by local classical musicians. You’ll recognize some and be happy to meet the rest at a warm, friendly, croissant-and-coffee Sunday morning performance. Come for the coffee, croissant, company and music. The continental breakfast is included in your ticket.

instruments: bandoneon, piano, violin, guitar and double bass

Today's music: tangonuevo, located at the confluence of classical music, jazz, contemporary music and traditional tango. Norteño's repertoire includes works by Astor Piazzola as well as compositions by Pierre Paul Provencher, the bandoneonist of the ensemble, also artistic director of the Ponticello Concerts

Date: Sunday May 4, 2025

Time: Show up at 10am for coffee and the music is 11-12. We'll sit in the top back area of the breakfast lounge at a big table together.
