👋 Hey guys! So, we’ve got two thrillers hitting the screen at the same time. The gritty world of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man and the high-stakes heist of ‘Crime 101. Whatever the vibe is, this is a great opportunity to get together and decide which story stole the night!

If you’re drawn to something darker and more serious, you may be interested in the British crime drama Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight. The story follows a self-exiled Tommy Shelby as he confronts rising Nazi threats and the ghosts of his past when his son is drawn into danger. The film directly continues the television series storyline, serving as a powerful, cinematic bookend to the Shelby legacy.

On the other hand, if you’re in the mood for something more explosive and popcorn-fuelled, you might want to check out the throwback crime thriller Crime 101 by Bart Layton. This widely praised new release has drawn comparisons to Heat and Collateral for its moody L.A. noir style, delivering a tense, character-driven story with serious edge.

By the way, there are several films playing around the same time at this location, so if you’d prefer an alternative, that’s absolutely fine, either way, we can still catch up at the bar. Make sure to book your ticket in advance in case your chosen film sells out.

We’ll kick things off at the Look Dine-In Bar at Tysons at The Boro at 6:00 pm (by then, we’ll have made our choice). I’ve already made mine, but that will remain top secret for now—until I see you. Then around 7:05 pm, we’ll head over to either Screen 6 or Screen 5, and after the film, we’ll regroup at 10:15 pm to share highlights and log our thoughts with a.Letterboxd review.

No matter what your vibe is, I think it’s going to be a really nice, chilled night for movie buffs.
