Paramus Programs - Novels at Night and other library events

Join us for a special preview of our upcoming Lincoln Center concert on Friday, February 6 at 7:00 pm at the Paramus Public Library Main Branch. This intimate evening will feature highlights from the genre-blending program, combining classical music, jazz, contemporary vocals, and poetry inspired by lived experiences.
Selected poems curated by the Paramus Public Library will be shared alongside the music, offering a glimpse into this unique community-centered performance series. Light refreshments will be provided.
This free preview event offers audiences a first look at a one-of-a-kind program and a chance to experience the artistry and storytelling behind this exciting new concert series.

On February 7 at 7:00 pm, at Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walter Auditorium, this intimate, genre-blending concert brings together classical music, jazz, and contemporary vocal works inspired by poetry and lived experiences. The performance features classical musicians, jazz artists, and K-pop singer Shin Joo-Won, known internationally for her rendition of Fly Me to the Moon in Netflix’s Squid Game.

The program explores different expressions of love through music paired with poetry curated by the Paramus Public Library, with selected poets reading their work live on stage. Community voices and stories are woven into the performance, making this more than a concert—it is a shared cultural experience.

This free event marks the first chapter of a new performance series and offers Paramus patrons a rare opportunity to attend a world-class performance at Lincoln Center—something the Paramus Public Library has never offered before.
