Bonticou crag - Mohonk Preserve hike

Let's go hiking to Bonticou Crag - Mohonk Preserve. This will be roughly 8 - 10 mile hike.

Let's meet at 1pm at the Spring Farm Trailhead for Mohonk - 50 Upper 27 Knolls Road, High Falls, NY.

We will hike up to Bonticou and then do a 6 to 8 mile loop back to the cars.

Mohonk Preserve is a stunning location. Worth the trip to go hiking.

Let's carpool up there. Please post in the comments if you have spots in your car or if you are looking for a ride. I am starting at 1pm because days are long and mornings can be hard to find parking at Mohonk.

Bring a headlamp in case we hike after sunset.

My plan is to be out by 7pm and then get dinner in New Paltz at Bacchus. Then drive to the city.

Kids are welcome on this hike.
