• Wednesday night drills and scrimmages

    Yanitelli Recreational Life Center

PLEASE SIGN UP AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE! We will need to cancel sessions that do not have at least 6 people signed up.

Our play time is 8:30pm - 10:00pm. Please arrive around 8pm to change and begin setting up the pool and goals once the previous group has cleared the area so that we can start play at 8:30. Play needs to stop by 10:00, so that we can set the pool back up for swimming and exit the building by 10:30pm.

Our Wednesday night sessions are focused on training drills and scrimmages. If you have not played before, it may be better to come to a Saturday introductory session; contact the session host(s) beforehand to discuss whether this session is appropriate for you. A basic understanding of the game, and intermediate-level kayaking skills (including maneuvering strokes, edge control, self- or assisted-rescues and/or comfort with wet exits, etc.) are required.

American Canoe Association (ACA) memberships and annual waivers, or single-session waivers and insurance fees, are required for all participants. (See https://americancanoe.org/join/individuals/)

For new players, the first session is free. After that, if you have not paid season/annual club dues, the single-session event fee is $20 for ACA members and $30 for non-ACA members.

PLEASE SIGN UP AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE! We will need to cancel sessions that do not have at least 6 people signed up.

Our Saturday sessions are good opportunities to get introduced to the sport. We have all the gear you will need, so just bring shorts and a shirt that you will be comfortable swimming in. If you have not played with us before, expect to learn/demonstrate how to safely exit your boat when it is capsized. (Or show off your roll if you’ve got it!) Either way, you will get wet :)

If you have not played with us before, please either contact the session hosts or post a comment, so that we can be ready to get you introduced to the club and sport, and alert you if this session is not the right one for you to join.

Our play time is 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Please arrive at 3pm to change and begin setting up the pool and goals once the previous group has cleared the area so that we can start play at 3:30. Play needs to stop by 5:00, so that we can set the pool back up for swimming, shower & change, and exit the building before it closes at 6:00pm.

You can try one session for free. After that, if you have not paid season/annual club dues, the single-session event fee is $25.
