Startup Founder 101 brings together aspiring and experienced tech entrepreneurs to discuss, meet, and collaborate to build great new startups, and to push the local startup ecosystem forward.

This group hosts numerous free events throughout the year where you can learn the best practices of starting a company from people who have been there and done that. You’ll have the opportunity to meet local founders and investors, exchange ideas with experts, get feedback on your idea, participate in startup workshops, and more.

Startup World Cup Grand Finale, with Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary (PARTNER EVENT)

Startup World Cup (startupworldcup.io) is one of the world’s biggest and richest pitch competitions, bringing the winners from 70+ regional competitions to San Francisco to pitch for a $1 million investment prize. The Grand Finale, taking place Sept 30 in San Francisco, is a combination conference and competition, featuring many extraordinary speakers and top tier investors as judges.

With 20+ years of experience in marketing and leadership in startups, he brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing best practices, building and leading teams, and market positioning. He founded CrowdTamers.com more than a decade ago and has been a consultant at companies all over the world, helping them grow. Current clients are based out of Toronto, Montreal, Warsaw, Amman (Jordan), London, Tel Aviv, and San Francisco.
Trevor has taught marketing, branding, growth, and revenue to more than a thousand startups at accelerators all over Europe and North America.
Trevor is from Florida in the United States, but moved to Poland in 2010 and lived there for 7 years. He's traveled to 27 different countries and eaten a bunch of things that he probably shouldn't have. He's now a resident of Montreal, Canada.

Father of 3 children (William (6 years old), Elizabeth, and Evelyn (2 years old)) and married for 20 years to his college sweetheart Eleanor. For fun in the copious free time he has between running a global growth marketing agency and raising 3 kids, he plays banjo and is writing several business books.
