Let's get together and make some noise.
Where: Oakland.Secret
577 5th Street, Oakland, 94607.
Performance space is on the door to the left when walking up to the venue.
When: Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month 7-9:30 pm
7:00-7:30 Set up and Social time
7:30-8:15 Open Jam
8:15-8:30 Break
8:30-9:15 Improvisation Workshop
9:15-9:30 Break down and clean up
What:

The first 45 minutes block will be dedicated to an open unguided jam and improvisation session.

The second 45 minute block will be dedicated to an improvisation workshop of semi-guided exercises and timed improvisation performances.
Improvisation workshop: All participants will put their name in the 'name jar'. Random names will be drawn to form groups. Groups then choose from the 'magic jar' of prompts/themes to guide their 10 minute improvisation performance. Groups perform. We clap.

All participants must bring all of their own equipment.

I will record all sessions and share them to an open source platform for all interested to have access to.
All these ideas are flexible and will develop over time to meet the needs of the community.
