About us
Want to have fun with other Christian singles in the OC? While we don't discourage dating in the group or having a healthy interest in the opposite sex, this isn't a hookup group, although we may sometimes organize events to facilitate romantic connections. Please wait until meeting at an event before reaching out to people who are not organizing an event. Those who do this regularly may be removed from the group. We welcome all ages, although the majority of our members are in the age range of mid-30's to mid-50's, and some events will draw people of different age ranges over others.
If you're interested in getting a group together to do something we haven't planned, just let us know and we'll look into organizing it as an official event.

Saddleback Singles ZtoZ - Small Group Friday
·OnlineOnlineEach Friday we meet from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm discussing the Talk It Over notes from the previous week’s service or other topics related to Saddleback Church over Zoom.
Please note that you will need an authenticated Zoom account, and please set your name to your actual name, ideally appending the city you’re in—we have members from around the country and the world, so it helps to identify our neighbors. If you don’t include your real name, you may not be permitted entry.
PREPARE FOR THE MEETING
Please note that you will need an authenticated Zoom account. Many find it helpful to sign in to Zoom before joining the meeting. You do need to set your name to your actual name, and it helps to append the city you’re in—we have members from around the country and the world, so it helps to identify our neighbors. If you don’t include your real name, you may not be permitted entry. Our small group time is meant to be a time of honest discussion about the topic for the evening, and we want everyone to have a chance to share, so please be ready to answer each question succinctly, and stay on the topic so there’s no need to interrupt anyone.
WHAT TO EXPECT
After introducing any newcomers, we will begin the Bible study, finishing up around 8:30 pm. Please be respectful of others’ time and join on time so we can finish on time, and if anyone is up for it, we will chat afterwards. It helps to keep your video on for visual cues to know if you’re ready to share, but first timers can just hang back and soak it in.If you don’t have time to go over everything, that’s fine; often the discussion questions work well on their own, but sometimes they will require quite a bit of introspection—HOMEWORK, as I like to say! If you love to share a lot, please allow others time to share as well. If you’re one who doesn’t share that much, please feel free to jump in; we’d love to hear your thoughts.
WHO WE ARE
Just a reminder to those who have been invited by others: this is a small group Bible study for Christians or those on the path to becoming a Christian, studying God’s word together, primarily for singles in their 30’s to 50’s. Single Adults Enjoying Life! Join Us Friday Night 07-10-26
15 Orange Tree, Irvine, CA, USGreetings to you and thank you for receiving this newsletter from O.C. Singles for Christ! We welcome you to consider joining us this Friday Night July 10th, 2026. We are just amazed at our continued growth on Friday Nights as last week, we had another awesome fellowship time! This Friday Night, we will have a memorable worship experience, encouragement from a Guest Speaker and after our formal time, loads of fun social interaction!
Below is a description of what is going on this coming Friday Night!
We meet at: 15 Orangetree Irvine, CA 92618
If you can't be there in person, you can watch the program via ONLINE LIVE-STREAMING:
Use this Link: https://ocsinglesforchrist.online.church. Our formal part of the evening starts promptly at 7:27pm sharp.Instead of going home after work, come early (If you'd like) and enjoy some Great Food and Fellowship with an enticing Freshly Made Cooked Meal to start the evening, from 6:00pm until 7:15pm! Our menu for this Friday Night is: Roast Beef Sliders, Potato Salad, Mixed Vegetables, Watermelon Slices, Delicious Sour Cream Lemon Pie Tarts for Dessert and a Ice Cold Bottle of Water. The cost is a low $8.00.
At 7:30pm, Jesica Specht and her Contemporary Band (Pictured Above) are back with us to lead our singing segment of the evening.
After our singing experience, we have a new Guest Speaker with us, Mr. Joseph Roth. Joseph will be speaking on “Your Successful Dating Plan Does Exist; You Just Weren't the One to Write It - Why Trusting in God is Brilliant". From scripture verses Jeremiah 29:11; Proverbs 3:6; Psalm 37:23 and Galatians 5:22, we will look at the fact that EVERY person who is single has had this discussion: "God, when my heart is lonely, my past painful, and my (relationship) future looks uncertain, how can I trust you with the answers?" Together, we will enjoy the answers to that question with a reassuring look at God's Blueprint (not plans) for our life. God designed for your good eons ago.
After our Formal Time, you are encouraged to stay for as long as you desire and enjoy various activities that are FREE for you! Such as Board games with Robert Bryant, Karaoke with DJ Scotty McKJ, or just meeting new friends and hanging out in our auditorium.
Our Point of Contact is Thomas at trose@ocsfc1.org
