What we're about

With vaccine eligibility open to all, and cases declining, we are excited to announce that we are restarting weekly Edmond game nights beginning on Thursday, April 22, with more events to follow in the coming months. Details about safety guidelines are posted in the event.

-----

We are a collection of friendly people who love playing board games. Whether you are brand new to board games, or a seasoned veteran, you'll find something you like at our board game nights. We meet weekly on Thursday nights at Denny's, and have a nice collection of easy to learn board games, and LOVE having new people come. We also give away a game every week.

Join us at Edmond's ShowBiz Cinemas for a fun night of board gaming. Showbiz is graciously providing us their large private party room, which offers plenty of quiet space for gaming.

A restaurant is available on-site, so you can order snacks, dinner or drinks from the bar (as with a normal restaurant, no external food is allowed).

Whether you're new to games and just want to meet people in a relaxed, friendly environment, or an experienced gamer with a collection of games you're eager to play, you'll fit right in!

Plus, after you're doing playing board games, there is loads of other entertainment available, including bowling for just $10 per lane for 90 minutes.

So come for some fantastic games with Oklahoma’s largest board gaming group.

We’ll have a large collection of games to play, including hot new releases, old favorites, and new-player friendly, easy-to-learn games. Volunteers are available to help you find a group to play with, teach games, and more. You are welcome to bring your own games, but it isn’t required.
Plus, free drinks and pre-packaged snacks will be available, courtesy of our event sponsor, Lo-Fi Dental!

Imagine a chill, cozy, relaxed, dental experience loaded with more amenities and comforts than you could dream—and completely bespoke to your hopes and needs. That's the LoFi Dental Experience–dentistry to relax/vibe to. Learn more at https://www.lofi.dental

Finally, we’re GIVING AWAY a board game. Everyone who attends gets a free ticket, and toward the end of the night, we’ll draw a winner!

Intro to Board Games at Chalk

Needs a location

Join us on the first Monday of each month at Oklahoma City's premier luxury sports bar—Chalk—located in the fantastic Chisholm Creek development.

Whether you're brand new to modern board games, having only played classics like Monopoly and Scrabble, or are already exploring board games, but want to expand your horizons, you'll find something you love at our Intro to Board Games night.

Learn or play great, introductory strategy games like Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan. Or, try your hand at a co-operative game, where players work together to defeat the game, with games like Forbidden Island and Pandemic. Or learn some light, short, small games you can easily take with you anywhere like Sushi Go or Love Letter.

Our hosts for the event, Rowynn & Grace, are experienced at teaching games and will be happy to help you find games to play, and find a group to play with.

Covid Update (March 31): Masks are now optional (not required), for all attendees.
