• Edmond Board Game Night

    Denny's

Join us for a fun night of board games this Thursday! If you're brand new to board games, this is a great way to learn some popular, easy to learn games. If you're experienced, we've got plenty of stuff for you too. Plus, we give away a game each week. Some popular games we play include (but are not limited to): Ticket to Ride, Catan, Sagrada, Pandemic, King of Tokyo, Love Letter, Splendor, Blokus & much much more. Of course, that's just a small taste—we have many, many more games, including light & easy games and longer strategic games. If you have games you'd like to play, feel free to bring them. Please park in the back or on the side at Denny's, so the parking lot does not appear to be full for other customers. Thanks! Note that our events are also advertised on Facebook, so there will be more attendees than shown here. This event usually has between 20 and 40 people. If you have any questions, feel free to post them below! We look forward to seeing you there! Like all our events, this is free to attend, and anyone, regardless of experience playing board games, is welcome to attend. • Board Gaming at On The Border

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

On Monday, June 24th (two short weeks from today!), the Oklahoma Board Game Community will be hosting an open gaming event at On The Border off of NW Expressway. We have teamed up with On the Border to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association in part of "The Longest Day" which takes place on June 21st (Read more here: http://act.alz.org/site/TR?fr_id=11896&pg=informational&sid=24695). In fact, 20% of all food purchases will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association for the cause. So, if you are interested, and committed to eating delicious Mexican food (Mmm Queso!), playing your favorite boardgames, all while supporting the Alzheimer's association for "The Longest Day", then this event is for you. If you are interested in attending, please click on the following link and RSVP to let us know (https://www.groupraise.com/events/98845). We will need 20 committed diners to carry out this event, but hopefully we can get even more! Note: While the event does indeed last all day, and On The Border has agreed to support it all day, the Oklahoma Board Game Community staff members will be showing up closer to 5 PM.
