About us
The Oklahoma Board Game Community is a friendly, welcoming group of people who loves to get together and play board games. Whether you are brand new to board games or a seasoned veteran, you'll find something you like at our board game nights.
We meet weekly on Thursday nights at different locations across Edmond, and we have various other meetups throughout the OKC metro area. We LOVE having new people come out and join us for game nights—all our events have volunteers who can help teach games if needed, and help anyone who comes find a group to play with.

Norman Board Game Day
Norman Adult Wellness & Education Center, 602 N Findlay Ave, Norman, OK, USJoin us for a fun afternoon of board games at the new Adult Wellness and Eduction Center in Norman!
Whether you're new to games and just want to meet people in a relaxed, friendly environment, or an experienced gamer with a collection of games you're eager to play, you'll fit right in! We'll have a library of games available, and volunteers to help teach games and find everyone a table to play at. Everyone is welcome!

Summer Game Swap and Virtual Flea Market
Edmond Unplugged, 117 S Broadway,, Edmond, OK, USJoin us Sunday, August 9 for our Summer Board Game Swap and for the first time, a Virtual Flea Market!
You can now buy and sell games in advance with our Virtual Flea Market. Then, collect money and exchange games at the event itself.
How the Virtual Flea Market Works:

Then login or create an account to list your games for sale. People can browse available games, make offers, or commit to buy games on the site. There is no cost or commission to use the virtual flea market.
At the Board Game Swap itself, if you sold games in the virtual flea market, you’ll be assigned space at a table, and anyone who bought games from you will be directed to your table to exchange money and games.

If you don’t fill out this form, your VFM table space may not be enough to give you space to list games.Exact specifics about the in person exchange and flea market setup will be posted here closer to the event once we have a better idea of the number of participants.

Intro to Board Games at Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble, 13800 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK, USJoin us on the second Monday of each month at the Barnes and Noble cafe for our special Intro to Board Games night. Maybe you are new to games, or maybe you've played a lot but are new to the group—either way, this is the meetup for you!
Whether you're brand new to modern board games, having only played classics like Monopoly and Scrabble, or are already exploring board games, but want to expand your horizons, you'll find something you love at our Intro to Board Games night.
Learn or play great, introductory strategy games like Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan. Or, try your hand at a co-operative game, where players work together to defeat the game, with games like Forbidden Island and Pandemic. Or learn some light, short, small games you can easily take with you anywhere like Sushi Go or Love Letter.
Our hosts for the event, Rowynn & Grace, are experienced at teaching games and will be happy to help you find games to play, and find a group to play with.
