After a hiatus due to COVID, CityCamp Oakland is returning! We're excited to bring back this community-driven event where residents, activists, city staffers, technologists, students, designers, and community leaders come together for a day of collaborative problem‑solving and open conversation about Oakland’s future. All are welcome!
CityCamp is an unconference – meaning YOU help shape the agenda! We'll start the day with session pitches, then attendees will vote on topics they want to explore in breakout sessions throughout the day.
Keynote Speaker: Oakland's Chief Resiliency Officer Daniel Hamilton will kick off the day with remarks on building a more resilient Oakland.
Goals for the day:
- Foster open dialogue around Oakland's challenges and opportunities
- Build connections across diverse perspectives and expertise
- Create momentum for ongoing civic engagement
