Join us for the OpenOakland meetup. This event will bring together professionals, enthusiasts, and experts passionate about utilizing data to drive positive change in Oakland.
This month we will introduce a new project:
OpenOakland is teaming up with EVOAK! to design a community asset mapping interface that supports equitable, data-informed development in East and West Oakland. Building on EVOAK!’s Vision 980 work to reimagine the I-980 corridor, this project will prototype an AI-informed tool that makes community data actionable for residents, planners, and advocates. We will also give updates to our current projects, introduce them to new attendees as necessary, network with others interested in civic tech, provide an opportunity to give back to the community, get experience for your resume or portfolio, and learn.
