OpenOakland - Civic Tech for the Community

Join us for the monthly OpenOakland meetup. This event will bring together professionals, enthusiasts, and experts passionate about utilizing data to drive positive change in Oakland.

We will start the meeting with a short presentation:
'Civic-tech in action in 2026'
What can be built with the right teams and a social impact focus.

We will also give updates to our current projects, introduce them to new attendees as necessary, network with others interested in civic tech, provide an opportunity to give back to the community, get experience for your resume or portfolio, and learn.

Our projects need more than software developers! If you are interested in design, project management, user testing, domain research or just want to get involved, please join us.
